This is my favorite series that I’m keeping on track and try to complete one piece a month (or at least 3 months for one piece). Currently I’m working on a sketch since February, I did 3 sketches at the same time, when the ideas just came to me, I sketched them all out, then slowly process other details.
Each piece that I draw has its own story, because it contains my feeling while drawing, most of the time when I’m feeling down and so much hatred, I draw a lot. Drawing is my best way to destress, or at least release some negative energy out of my body. It means so much whenever I look back at all of my pieces and feel how hard I’ve tried to overcome everything.
I didn’t study fine art at college, but drawing has been with me since I was 6 or 7 years old, and it’s a part of my body now. Aside from being a very time consuming hobby, I draw to keep practicing my skill, searching for new idea to express my feeling, and yes to define myself because when I concentrate on doing details, the world can disappear.
